UFC Champion Francis Ngannou On Zack Snyder’s ‘Rebel Moon

What will Frances Ngannou do in Zack Snyder’s ‘Rebel Moon – Part 2: Wounded’ on Netflix?

Francis Ngannou is still fulfilling his childhood dreams. Raised in poverty and working in the sand mines of his native Cameroon, “The Marauder” has come a long way. After arriving in Europe after a rough trip, becoming a UFC champion and nearly beating the heavyweight boxing champion of the world, “The Marauder” is moving forward in the show business.

The Cameroonian appeared in a small role in the second part of Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon sci-fi epic, which was released in April and is available for streaming on Netflix. Because of this, he has owned one of the most successful IPs in the world, as the film is part of the Star Wars universe.

Ngannou plays a character called “Gladiator” in this film, but this is not his first major film appearance. The former UFC heavyweight champion embarked on another long IP, playing another small role in 2021’s Fast and the Furious 9..

Ngannou is slowly becoming a true star in his second film appearance, which is not surprising given his powerful film portrayal of his character as one of the world’s “baddest” men. And now he reminds everyone why.

After playing “Gladiator” on the screen, Francis Ngannou will return this year
Ngannou left the UFC in January 2023 after major disputes with Dana White and his partners, mostly at the fighter’s expense. After a short period of free agency, the Cameroonian signed with the UFC’s main rival, the PFL, last May and began a new phase of his martial arts career.

However, more than a year later, the Cameroonian is yet to make his debut for the organization founded by Don Davies. With a knee injury on the sidelines for most of 2023, Ngannou decided to box Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua for the biggest payday of his career..

Now he is ready to fight in the PFL tournament. In a new interview, “The Robber” teased a return as late as 2024 against promising and dangerous knockout artist Renan “Problema” Ferreira in Saudi Arabia. The former UFC champion has been holding the Brazilian in high regard and has been telling people to watch out for the past two years. Now he faces Ferreira in what is undoubtedly the PFL’s biggest heavyweight fight of the day. “I will fight until the end of the year. This is what the PFL [fighting in Saudi Arabia] is doing. October, sometimes they work in October. It’s not done yet, but they talked about October 19th. I think that person is Renan Ferreira. What do you think about the project?.
