Sydney Sweeney wears Angelina Jolie’s 2004 Academy Awards gown to Vanity Fair Oscars party 2024

Sydney Sweeney’s going into the vaults.

The “Euphoria” actress wowed fashion fans by wearing a piece of Academy Awards history at Sunday’s Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2024, strutting the red carpet in the same Marc Bouwer gown Angelina Jolie wore to the ceremony 20 years ago.

Sweeney, 26, stepped out in the exact white halter gown worn by the “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” star to the 2004 Oscars and even accessorized the slinky look — which featured a plunging front and low back — in a similar way.

The dress featured a low back.

The “Anyone But You” star wrapped a custom diamond necklace by Messika around her neck, with the glittering style resembling the ones Jolie wore with the dress in the early aughts.

She accessorized with the same silky wrap around her arms but also brought something new to the red carpet: a fresh, sleek bob haircut.

Sweeney finished off her party look with Piferi platform heels and a natural beauty look, wearing nude lipstick and soft, shimmery eye makeup.
