Ibrahim is an expert in communication between television and game consoles.

His setup also includes an Excel spreadsheet that he can refer to when he wants to play a console.

The tab tells him which switch to turn on to display that console on the TV.

“I have a lot of video game consoles,” he told us.

“After a while I realized that I had a huge pile of game consoles that I couldn’t play.

“There are only a few ports on the TV, and if I want to play games, I can take the front panel off or I can keep everything and add switches and converters.

Ibrahim’s collection of connects to more than 30 RCA switches, more than 12 HDMI switches and connections that the youngsters out there have never heard of for their classic consoles.

It has everything from the Magnavox Odyssey, the first game console released in 1972, to the PlayStation 5 Slim, released in late 2023. Nintendo Switch, Wii U, Sega Genesis and super rare consoles like the Super A ‘Can.

“For me, the best game console of all time, the number one game console of all time, forever, is the Sega Genesis,” he admits.
