Families that are Mixed: The Power of Positive Co-Parenting among Jennifer Lopez, Jen Garner, and Ben Affleck

I’ve always been a big admirer of what o was once called “the blended family.” (It’s a moderately derogatory phrase, I would like to mention….Am I the outcome of divorce or am I simply an Erewhon smoothie?) Although I understand well the pressures that many parents face in holding their families together for their children’s sake, I also acknowledge that there exist some strange connections after marriage ends. For me, this means knowing my mother and father as separate beings throughout adulthood and not as one couple until now…and who knows if my attention-seeking father’s girlfriend back then also contributed to getting my first and only Juicy Couture tracksuit back in 2007?Undeniably, there are people who believe that non-traditional ways of living have merit—for instance Jennifer Lopez recently stopped from her Nancy Meyer’s summer retreat in Hamptons just to see Ben Affleck’s ex-wife named Jennifer Garner at Brentwood.

This is an old topic. This is evident by the friendly relationship of Vice President Kamala Harris with Doug Emhoff’s ex-wife, Kerstin which made headlines recently. In a world filled with reality shows and drams; it would be good to see two ladies perhaps even well known to lay aside all former problems and for the benefit of their children. It has been reported that Garner and Affleck’s three children are quite close to Lopez who recently took her son Samuel shopping at Neiman Marcus. (Well done to that step mother!) If Affleck ever decides to give himself another Jennifer, I would place my bet on Jennifer lopez though I am always sure that Lopez and Garner would welcome her well.
