Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco spend time with their ‘Only Murders’ co-stars, Martin Short and Steve Martin.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco attend a basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat at Crypto.com Arena on Jan. 3, 2024 in Los Angeles.

Selena Gomez invited Benny Blanco to join her for a get-together with her co-stars from ‘Only Murders in the Building’.

In a picture shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday (May 9), the singer-actress and the producer — who will be celebrating their one-year anniversary in June — are seen posing in front of a vibrant wall art alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short, who are the lead actors of the Hulu series with Gomez. The photo also includes filmmaker Judd Apatow and director Steven Spielberg, among a group of other friends.

In the photo, Gomez is seen with her arm around Blanco’s shoulders, with the “Eastside” musician donning a vibrant sweater. Earlier that day, the founder of Rare Beauty had also shared a picture of their intertwined hands.

This gathering isn’t the first time Blanco has spent time with Gomez, Short, and Martin. When the former star of Wizards of Waverly Place took the music artist as her date to the 2024 Primetime Emmys, they were seated next to the two actors during the event. Only Murders was a contender for the best comedy series, but the award went to FX’s The Bear. Short was nominated for best actor in a comedy series, but the award was won by Jeremy Allen White.

The post was shared just over a week after the couple celebrated the launch of Blanco’s cookbook, Open Wide, with a close-knit party. Gomez shared pictures from the event, including a few of the newly published author’s book-shaped cake, expressing her pride.

“Life is better when I’m with you,” Blanco replied in the comments!

On the same day, Blanco appeared on the show ‘TODAY With Hoda & Jenna’ to discuss his book ‘Open Wide’. He also expressed his admiration for his relationship with the singer of “Single Soon” on the show. Speaking to hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, he said, “Every day I wake up, look in the mirror, and wonder, ‘How did this happen?’ But until anyone figures it out, whee!”
